Rudolphs at the Park
It's was supposed to be a nice warm day. Instead it was just like, well, December. It was just the three of us at the massive playground in the town up over the mountain. It's a beautiful drive to get there. Many a manor up top a rolling hill....we have red noses. Anna's hair is sticking up off her head like flower stalks pointing in every which way-the word "boing" comes to mind, the spiral curls....
It is nice to be the only ones at the park. It's easy to spot my two without the swarms of others.
It's the soft plunk of piano keys of Satie's Gymnopedies instead of the normal theme of Romper Room.
Calm, December, breathe.
